During your initial appointment, Dr. Chen and Dr. Zhang will dedicate time to understanding your expectations, concerns, and dental history. During this visit, we will use interactive and state of the art technologies such as intra-oral cameras and digital x-rays to educate you about your dental health and thoroughly explain your diagnosis and any pertinent treatment options, if necessary. Occasionally, treatment can be performed the same day as the consultation. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require an evaluation and that a second appointment be scheduled for another day.

Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation: your X-rays (if applicable) and a list of medications you are presently taking. If you have dental insurance, please bring your insurance card or information. This will save time and will allow us to help you process any claims.

IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under 18 at the consultation visit.

Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to surgery (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.), if you are on any medications (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.), or if you require medication prior to dental cleanings (i.e. antibiotics, for pre-med.) (don’t abbreviate pre-med, find the real word: when I think pre-med I think premedical student: like me)

About X-Rays

If your previous dentist has taken recent x-rays (within 6-months), you may request that they forward them to our office. If there is not enough time, we ask that you please pick them up and bring them to our office. If additional films are necessary, they can be taken
